What We Do
A SMALL START FOR A MORE GLOBAL AND INFORMED WORLD
Across the IAYG Family, volunteers, project leads, and affiliates organize programmes that advance geographic, global citizenship, and environmental education, and empower young people to use these critical subjects to impact the world around them.
In partnership with the International Geographical Union’s Young & Early Career Geographers Taskforce, we maintain a particular focus in supporting university students and early career researchers. IAYG names one of the nine members of the IGU-YECG Taskforce Steering Committee.

Please note that more programme information will soon be made available.
Notice: The COVID-19 pandemic has necessitated significant changes to our programme planning and has cancelled a number of events. This is reflected in the current projects and programmes listed. Please check iaygfamily.org/coronavirus for updates on pandemic impacts. We wish you the best of health and safety at this time, and strongly encourage team members to review national and international disease prevention guidelines.
